“Mom, everyone has those shoes. Can we just use your card?” – Every parent, every week. It feels small now. It isn’t.
It Starts Earlier Than You Think
Small habits around money don’t stay small — they quietly shape how your child understands the world, the choices they make, and the kind of future they believe is possible.
What feels normal today—spending quickly, not fully understanding value, or simply following what others are doing—can gradually turn into deeper financial challenges over time. Money comes and goes without a clear sense of purpose, decisions are often driven by impulse rather than awareness, and the connection between effort, value, and reward remains unclear. Along the way, outside influences begin to shape habits early, and without realizing it, a child’s sense of what’s possible for their future becomes limited or predefined.
The Creative Currency Club Solution
We teach teens and preteens TWO essential skills:
Currency
How Money Actually Works
Financial literacy—earning, saving, spending, investing, budgeting, compound interest, banking basics, and building wealth.
Creativity
How to Create Value Using YOUR Strengths and interests
Entrepreneurship—turning ideas into income, solving problems, building businesses based on what you’re naturally great at.
The combination? Your child learns both HOW money works and How to create it; in ways that honor their natural interests – whether they’re artists, problem-solvers or social connectors…or all-in-one.

What They'll Leave With
A starter business plan that includes their big idea, who they’ll serve, how they’ll make money, and concrete next steps to get started.
Foundational money skills they'll actually use
Understanding of their unique strengths
Confidence about money and value creation
Practical skills they'll use immediately
We don't promise a finished product or a launched business. We promise that your child will spend this program thinking harder, more creatively, and more independently about money and their future than most kids their age ever will. That's worth something.
What your child will walk away with
Real skills. Something to show for it. A different way of seeing the world.
WHAT THEY LEAVE WITH
WHY IT MATTERS
A business concept they built
A real problem they identified, a solution they designed, a customer they defined – and a clear understanding of why someone would pay for it.
College applications reward students who have built something, not just studied something. A self-directed project with real economic logic is a story worth telling-in essays, interviews, and beyond.
A complete business plan
How their idea works, what it would cost, how it would earn, and the difference between revenue and profit-in their own words.
Following a plan through to completion is a leadership skill. So is being able to explain your thinking clearly to someone else. Both start here.
A personal financial plan
A real savings goal, a path to reach it, and a genuine understanding of how money works in their own life – not just in theory.
Financial habits formed early are among the most durable. A child who understands how money moves at 13 approaches earning, spending, and saving differently at 23.
A pitch they’ve delivered
Every student presents their concept to peers and families at the final showcase. That’s confidence you can’t fake and can’t forget.
Communication and persuasion are leadership skills. Your child will have practiced them in a real, low-stakes setting-which is exactly where those skills get built.
A new way of seeing problems
Students leave noticing problems around them and asking-what could solve that? That curiosity is the foundation of entrepreneurship, leadership, and financial independence.
The world your child is growing up in rewards people who create value, not just follow instructions. Curiosity and problem-solving aren’t soft skills-they’re survival skills.

Why Creative Currency Club is different
We’re not another generic summer camp. Here’s why:
Currency + Creativity Combined
We’re the only program teaching both financial literacy (how money works) AND entrepreneurship (how to create value using your unique strengths). Your child learns the mechanics of money AND how to generate it in ways that feel true to who they are.
Learning by Doing, Not Just Listening
Your child won’t just learn ABOUT budgets-they’ll track their real spending and create a real budget. They won’t just learn ABOUT entrepreneurship-they’ll survey real customers, validate business ideas, and present to real people. Every lesson includes hands-on practice with real money and real decisions.
Strengths-Based, Not One-Size-Fits-All
We don’t force every kid into the same idea or business model. Artists have different advantages than engineers. Social connectors have unique strengths. We honor that. We help each child discover how THEIR specific strengths can generate income.
Validation Over Production
We teach kids to TEST ideas before going all-in-just like real entrepreneurs do. Instead of rushing to create products, they learn to survey potential customers, get feedback, and validate demand. This is a life skill that will save them time, money, and heartache in the future.
Skills They'll Use This Year
These aren’t theoretical concepts for “someday.” Your child will use budgeting skills with their allowance THIS MONTH. They’ll recognize marketing tricks THIS WEEK. They can start their service business now or later, whichever they choose.
Two Weeks of Real Depth
Most camps spend 1 week scratching the surface. We spend 2 weeks going deep enough actually transform how kids think about money and value creation.
Join the Founding Cohort
This is our first-ever cohort. Your child will be part of Creative Currency Club’s founding group the original members who helped launch something meaningful.

How do I know my child will be safe?
All instructors are background-checked and experienced with youth education. We maintain appropriate supervision ratios and the program is fully insured.
What is the difference between the Free Workshop and the Program?
The free workshop is free and will hold in the fall of 2026. It is a compact version of the program, and is limited to just 20 students – so register early! The Program will offer the full educational experience, with all the topics, activities and insights that CCC has to offer. It will be held in 2027, and will be at a cost. Your child will leave with a different perspective on their future. Review our “What Your Child Will Walk Away With” page to learn more.
My child isn't interested in finance. Will they be bored?
We make this FUN and relevant. This isn’t dry lecture—it’s hands-on projects, games, real business creation, and discovering what they’re great at. Students consistently say “I didn’t know this would be so interesting!”
What if my child is shy or struggles in groups?
Small groups (15-20 max) make this easier. We also honor different strengths—introverted kids often discover their unique advantages in business. Quiet observers become strategic thinkers.
Can siblings attend together?
Yes! If both are ages 11-14. Contact us about a sibling discount for multiple enrollments.
